Privacy Policy

Account information: We collect your name, email address, profile details, login method, and account preferences so you can sign in and use Roamer across devices.

Trip planning information: We store destinations, trip names, travel dates, budgets, itinerary items, timings, addresses, notes, saved places, hotels, restaurants, transport items, trip status, travelers, and trip invite information.

Notes and checklist information: If you create notes, packing lists, reminders, checklist items, tags, or linked trip notes, we store that content so it remains available in your account.

Expense information: If you use the expense tracker, we store expense categories, amounts, descriptions, dates, payer information, split or personal expense status, trip budget, and related settlement calculations.

AI planning information: When you use AI features, Roamer may process your destination, trip dates, selected day, current itinerary, saved places, notes, budget, hotel or restaurant preferences, and your prompt so the app can generate relevant travel suggestions.

Subscription and credit information: We store plan status, premium access state, credit balance, credit usage history, product identifiers, purchase status, RevenueCat identifiers, and related billing metadata. Payment processing is handled by Apple App Store and RevenueCat. We do not store full payment card details.

Notification information: If you enable reminders, we may store push notification tokens, reminder settings, note reminders, trip reminders, and reminder delivery metadata.

Device and diagnostics: We may collect app version, platform, device type, error logs, crash or diagnostic information, and basic usage events to improve reliability.

• Generate AI-assisted itinerary, hotel, restaurant, place, and route suggestions.
• Personalize recommendations using your selected trip context.
• Track credit usage and unlock premium features.
• Process subscriptions and top-up credit purchases.
• Send reminders and push notifications you enable.
• Support shared trips and traveler invitations.
• Provide customer support.
• Detect bugs, prevent abuse, and improve app performance.

Roamer uses AI to help plan trips and suggest places, hotels, restaurants, schedules, and route improvements. AI suggestions are generated from the context you provide. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable. Users should verify opening hours, safety conditions, prices, travel time, booking availability, weather, visa rules, and local regulations before relying on a suggestion.

Roamer uses trusted services to operate the app, including:

• Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and Edge Functions.
• RevenueCat for subscription and purchase entitlement management.
• Apple App Store for in-app purchases and subscriptions.
• Google Maps / Google Places for maps, geocoding, place photos, and location information.
• Expo services for push notification infrastructure.
• Email/SMTP providers for OTP, password reset, support, and trip invite emails.
• AI providers for travel planning features.
• Analytics or telemetry services for reliability and diagnostics.
• These providers process data only as needed to provide app functionality.

We do not sell personal data. We share information only with service providers needed to operate Roamer, when required by law, to protect users and the app, or when you ask us to perform an action such as sending an invite or processing a purchase.

Notifications: Roamer asks for notification permission only when reminders or trip updates are enabled.

Location/maps: Roamer may use maps, place search, geocoding, and external map links to show travel places and directions. If device location is added later, permission will be requested before use.

Camera: Roamer does not request camera access in the current version.

Tracking: Roamer does not sell your data or track you across other companies' apps and websites for advertising.

We keep your account and trip data while your account is active. You can delete your account in the app from Profile > Support > Delete account. Deletion removes your Roamer account profile, trips, itineraries, notes, expenses, saved places, reminders, notification tokens, credit history, and app billing profile data, except limited records retained where required for legal, security, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, or payment compliance.

Users can delete their account directly inside the Roamer app: Profile > Support > Delete account. If you cannot access your account, contact vaibhavgareja@gmail.com from your account email.

Deleting your Roamer account does not automatically cancel an active Apple App Store subscription. Subscriptions must be managed through Apple ID subscription settings.

Roamer is not intended for children under 13.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service is completely secure.

Data may be processed in countries where Roamer or its service providers operate.

We may update this policy. The effective date will be updated when changes are made.
